Just for Fun... Dubai Ultimate Frisbee Tournament
Ouch. I'm still sore from the Dubai Ultimate Frisbee Tournament. This was the second annual and it took place at the American School of Dubai to raise money for a school in north India. Last year my team came in 1st. This year we settled for 3rd. :( But fun was had by all and we're already looking forward to next year's tournament. (Boy, am I a "white" boy or what?!)

I'll be there for basically all of June and July, and I'd like to get the lay of the land as far as the ultimate scene is concerned. Hey Scott, sorry to take so long to reply to your post. The tourney will take place January 23rd and only lasts one full day. I'm a little unclear on the cost but you could contact the guy who runs it. Here is his email: sherrington (at) asdubai.org. I told him about your inquiry and he was welcoming in his response. We are not a league really. Just some guys and girls playing regularly at the American School of Dubai. It's invite only unfortunately but if you wanted to come play a time or two I could maybe get you in. Duplays.com has set up leagues in Dubai if you want to pursue that.
